Kanapou Bay

High atop a ridge overlooking Kanapou Bay one can see the silt in the water from rain runoff. On closer inspection, lines that cut through the silt indicate large fishes probably sharks that frequent the bay looking for prey. Kanapou Bay is an area designated as a "Kai Kapu" or marine sanctuary in the proposed Kaho`olawe Land Use Plan.
