Fishhook Petroglyph

The bay at Hakioawa was one of the major settlements on Kaho`olawe. Along its central ridge between two stream beds exist the majority of petroglyphs of this area. This petroglyph is the only example of a fishhook found on Kaho`olawe. It is roughly pecked and appears to be of the type used for deep sea fishing.
