Alii from Planet Palau! I love places like Palau. It is vaguely familiar yet strikingly different from Hawaii. The weather and island lifestyle is similar and so are some of the traditions. Yet, this is a foreign country and although English is the primary language, Palauan is spoken commonly. This site is a project that is growing and changing. I like to think of it as organic. For the most part it consists of images taken during my last trip in July 2001 and some from a previous visit in Aug. 2000.
